Hayley Group Limited are looking for a Warehouse Assistant to join our well-established and experienced team based at our Redruth branch. You will join us on a full time, permanent basis and in return, you will receive a competitive salary.

About the role:
As our Warehouse Assistant, you will mainly be assisting with operations in our warehouse, picking, packing and dispatching goods via internal and external transport. You will also be required to assist with processing of stock, including receipting goods, shelving items in the correct locations, stock checks and general warehouse housekeeping. A key member of the team, you will be required to liaise with other colleagues and departments across the branch network.
Working hours: 40 hours per week Monday to Friday
Key responsibilities as our Warehouse Assistant will include:
- Assisting with picking and counterchecking of orders
- Serving customers on the trade counter.
- Stock-taking and replenishment of goods.
- Receiving goods and deliveries, loading and unloading of vehicles.
- Completing deliveries and collections as required.
- Use of forklift trucks and various machinery within the warehouse.
Skills & attributes we're looking for in our Warehouse Assistant:
- Valid UK manual driving licence.
- FLT licence is desirable, however not essential.
- Experience of working in a warehouse environment would be beneficial.
- Must be PC literate – able to check stock on the computer system.
- Ability to work independently using own initiative and as part of a team.
- Good problem-solver, with good attention to detail.
